There are actually various ways of treating IBS. These are not limited to consuming medications. One such treatment for IBS is do detoxification.

Detoxification helps to remove the toxic waste build up in your body. In doing so, it helps you with smooth and regular bowel movements, thus decreasing your IBS symptoms. In addition, you also see improved health, get fewer allergies and experience more energy.

Some people go for colonic hydrotherapy or colon irrigation, a method for colon cleansing. Whereas others detoxify their gastrointestinal tract via adopting a detox diet. If you need more information about treating IBS through detoxification, subscribe to my newsletter on detox diet tips.

The festive spread was just too tempting.  You could not stop yourself from eating all that food laid across the table.  The end result is that you feel completely bloated with no more stomach space.

What happens if you have really overdone things and with all that Turkey meat and ham that you ate is causing you to feel constipated?  You had decided to ditch the salad in an attempt to stuff yourself more with meats.

Answer?  Give your body a break.  Go on a fast for a meal or two.  In the meantime, drink only plain water.  Water will help flush out the waste accumulated in your body.  If you continue to feel constipated and bloated, the only thing you are allowed to drink is vegetable and fruit juice.  For recipe ideas, you can check out my other site here for some detox diet recipes.

Get your stomach cleared n time for the New Year Pig Out! But don’t forget your greens and fiber in the next round of feasting and don’t stuff yourself too much with meats.
